Discuss the ideas with the customer and select the best one.
Sketching by hand or creating a cad drawing / 3d drawing / cad model (depends on the project complexity and the specifications).
Create the final model. Get the files ready for manufacturing ( STL , STEP etc.).
Render it in 3Ds Max to get photorealistic images( 3d rendering ).
Prepare the technical docs for the manufacturer.
